Aluminum die Casting part of Heat Exchanger, it is a new part developed, the part is the major housing for the motor . the cavity number for this part is 1, according to the required tolerance and dimensions, the difficult point of this part is the CNC machining work,


The CNC machining work is finished on high precision machining center, we used BROTHER machining center, the accuracy can be up to 0.005 mm. The fourth rotary table we used is NIKKEN.  Prior to machining, the part will be shot peeninged, or called shot blasting, shot peening is to make the appearance of the part more consistency, eliminating the mark of deburring more or less. What's more, shot blasting also can make the mechanical property better.


In die casting process, should pay attention to gas bulging bubble
Features: skin of casting, formed gas bulging bubble.

Causes
1, mold temperature is too high.
2, the filling speed is too high, the metal flow into the gas too much.
3, coating gas, excessive amount of unburned, before pouring, the volatile gas enclosed in the surface layer of the casting.
4, the exhaust is not smooth.
5, premature opening.
6, alloy smelting temperature is too high.


Exclusion measures
1. Cooling mold to working temperature.
2, reduce the injection speed, avoid eddy gas inclusion.
3, the small air quantity amount of coating, thin and uniform, then die out.
4. Cleaning and adding overflow tank and exhaust duct.
5, adjust the mold leaving time.
6. Dressing smelting process.

The material required for this part is ADC-12, a Japanese standard aluminum, very common material applied in high pressure die casting. The material should conform to standard of JIS H 5302-2000.
